      Re: Losing Connection!

your stats do show some errors but not that many, this is helped by th efact you look capped which gives you a higher NM.

have you had a look in the cabling and face plate forum for tips on how to improve your internal wiring (doing a test from the test socket will show if it is your wiring, see first link in my sig)

do the disconects happen at the same time or at random ?

      Re: Losing Connection!

If there are other networks within a reception range to yourself that are using the same channel then this can cause interference problems with your wireless network.

You have to work out if the router is dropping the internet connection or the wireless network with the internet still working for the router but not for you due to the wireless network failing.

If it's the wireless network that's failing then get a copy of Vistumbler and run that. That will show what networks are in your area and what channels they are on and you can then work out if it's an interference issue.

If it's a Netgear router provided by Sky and it's a wireless network issue that's randomly dropping and you're unable to get a wireless network for a good while then good luck, it appears to be a problem with Sky modified Netgear routers that causes this problem (see my other posts and my signature re this fault). It may not be that, but it's worth having a read to see if you're also being affected by it.

Still NO solution from Sky! Still not fixed!
