      Three days to get fullspeed

Anyone else been told by Sky TS that it takes about three days to get fully up to speed when connected.

I've been around 150-200k for four days and I can't get hold of anyone who is prepared to "flick the switch" to get me up to a decent speed.

What shall I do? Complain, just sit in my hands and wait or something else entirely?

      Frustrated Paul!!

Thats news to me Paul, call TS again and ask to speak to someone higher if you get the same answer as they can pass it to the correct dept and thats is what they should be doing.

I think you get full speed from day 1 - probably a bit too much full speed and if anything the 3 days tends to slow you down to a more stable rate. Post some of your router stats and we'll comment further

Rung Sky TS - escalating problem to Tier 3 who will call back a bit quicker as I'm near to the end of the cooling off period.

Looks like a very bad line to me. What service were you on before?

Reading my old threads - I thought it was just a case of Tier 3 raising the speed

I don't have a problem with the people in Sky TS - they are polite and very good at what they do. Besides, they are only doing their job.
