that connection info looks very bad.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

If I could find a sledgehammer cheap enough, I would have got one long ago!!

Got a ADSL extension lead ordered (should be here tomorrow) - cant be hassled with wireless connection especially as my PC and router, LAN USB adaptor doesn't seem to get a good signal.

Have been able to connect the PSP wirelessly - which is nice.

I'll see what Tier 3 say tomorrow (hopefully!!) and my connection would be perfect - in an ideal world.

With stats like that I fear for my connection speed, I'm currently with PIpex on a bog standard 1MB line with 60db attenuation and roughly anywhere between 13 and 19 downstream SNR.

I had better get at least 1MB out of my line or I will not be happy, my brother was with Pipex and went to BT Total BB and he had the same 1MB line albeit with slighty better attenuation of 55db and similar noise margin, he's now enjoying a syn speed of 4500kbps and a download speed just over the 3MB mark and he is delighted with this. To think he was told his line could do no better than 1MB and my line apparently could never handle broadband!

We'll see what happens - I'm hopeful because I managed to get 1.5Mb out of Pipex through the line and that was with a wired connection so dodgy even a non-PC user would have laughed.
