      Mid, Broadband

Hi, im looking for some advice im currently on the mid package and have been for over a year. Since the start of this week my connection has been dropping at random despite me not changing anything, after talking to Sky they reduced my speed to 6mb and the problem seemed to go away. Then today I noticed they have now lowered it to 4mb.

If my line has supported 8mb for over a year why all of a sudden cant it cope?
Are there any chances Sky will higher my download after a certain period?

      Thanks for any info

      Re: Mid, Broadband

Call Sky or email them via Sky.com - Sky Help Centre>Contact Us>Feedback - Broadband Kana

Just tell them your connection is stable now and you wish for the cap to be lifted.

      Re: Mid, Broadband

Hi, sorry to bring this thread back up is it possible to tell what speed I could expect from "Max" by using these stats:

      Down Up
Line Attenuation 32.0 db 20.5 db
Noise Margin 22.3 db 14.0 db

(Do you have to remain on each package for 12 months or can you downgrade)

      Thanks

      Edit:
Is it true you cannot downgrade, a reason why?
