So you can't surf the web (HTTP)?

Do you mean you can't host a webserver on 80/8080 or a mail server on 25 etc?

      I believe we're blocked from using 25, 80, 8080 3128. I don't know about 3389. What is it you want to do?

You know when you read your own words and think, " I know what i mean, but someones going to get REAL smart about that".

Yeah I cant host my own website at present. SMTP suddenly and magically started to work about 5 minutes ago. I had tried everything and then boom i get a pile of messages which have been queuing on my relay server.

Trying to open an RDP connection from my work desktop doesnt work either, which was working fine from Bulldog. Wouldnd be that much of a big deal if i could just get a web connection working, i'd just run SSLExplorer and tunnel everything through an SSL connection.

On the good news, the new router seems fairly stable. Much better than my previous DG834GT which crashed every hour on the hour.

3389 seems OK for me. Logged on to home from work to download some useful torrents (we're strongly advised not to use P2P) just yesterday.
Connection Speed 13753 kbps Down - 766 kbps Up
Line Attenuation 33.5 db Down - 18.7 db Up
Noise Margin 7.0 db Down - 11.6 db Up

Woops spoke too soon. Just had to reboot router. *insert fave expletive*

Lol so they didnt block FTP, they are allowing bittorrent, but they are blocking web traffic. Strange decisions.

Guess Ill just run a webserver on a non standard port. My mail relay site can forward to a non standard port anyway so if my SMTP access gets blocked again ill just reroute.

You can its port 80 inwards not outwards ie so technically you could not use a webserver from home on port 80
