      erm port 80 isnt blocked ive hosted a web site for a m8, to helping him code a site and port 80 is open

      sky only block ports:

      25

      18

      8080

      3128

      well so they say

      hi NewsreadeR, m8 nps

      ppl still have to open the port via the firewall rules within the router tho

      as for port 25, the best thing to do is use the skys smtp for outgoing and leave there other pop address from the email services. so you can still download your emails from another provider

      Hi, I'm new to the forums and I'm not yet a sky user until I get my invite

      Does any one know if they block port 443? I run my site over an ssl connection from home and 443 is the best one for me to run it on as my work blocks non standard ports

      Hope to post as a Sky user when ever they catch up!

      we were given 4 ports that were blocked, 1 of them now appears not to be

      port 443 is open i think all you have to do is open it with in your router

      Just wish the first offer I got to signup lasted longer than 2 days Didn't have a MAC so could not take it up.

      hmm ive just bin doing some tests on ports with my m8 and he couldnt connect on ports

      443

      80

      8080

      im sure port 80 was open :/

      i will try again and u know
