Well don't know what's going on. The last weekend my connection has been all over the place.....switched the router off 30 mins ago to let it have a rest poor thing.....reconnected to get speeds of firstly 3584/416 SNR falling to around 3, it dropped connection and came back with 1376/416 SNR 32.3, dropped connection again then resynched at 5632/416 SNR 17.1 these being my normal readings. Re: Sky to perform a spot of ADSL line management on some 300,000 lines

You have a very noisy line and this is probably at the root of your problem.

See the cabling and faceplate help forum for info on diagnosing and fixing line problems.

      Re: Connection problems

Sorry about that! Been disconnected so many times whilst reading the posts I forgot where I was!! Have got a split face plate master socket and the router is connected directly to it. All pcs connect wirelessly and wireless connection is solid. Have now connected the router to the test socket through a micro filter but connection remains erratic. I'll monitor it for a while.

As regards the line management post any signs yet of Sky rolling that out?
