      Question Help!! - Games!

Guys i'm pulling my hair out here!

For agesssssss now i've been trying to host my own servers for diffrent games (HALO CE, BF2 ect), i have a good idea what the prodblem is i just need a soultion. I've made sure when i host a game its set to internet but the coumputer uses my router IP (192.168.0.2) and not my Public IP which starts 91.***, when i was on virgin media it used an IP that began with 81.*** and people could join fine. I've made sure all nessasary ports are open and the firewall isn't the problem. I'm using the Netgear DG834GT, anyone know a way of using the Public IP instead of my private IP so i can host games.

      Many thanks

Are you sure your IP starts with 91, I though all Sky ones started 90 ?

      Re: Help!! - Games!

First, you will need to forward the required ports on the router

V1 (white) router: PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall
V2 (black) router: PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall

once you have followed these guides, just hand out your global ip (90.*.*.*) and it will work

Remember that your IP is dynamic and will probably change if you reboot, powercycle or reset your router.
