Question Sky BB & Using Your Own Router?

My migration date ( 18th Sept ) came and Sky migrated me across from Freedom2surf to their set-up, my own router showed me that my line speed had increased BUT I hadn't received any router from Sky!!

I've contacted sky and they can not provide me with a date to when my Sky router will be dispatched, they have issues at their end.

So I am now without broadband thanks to Sky migrating me before my Sky router was dispatched. Am I able to configure my own router ( Belkin ) to work or am I totally in the hands of Sky?

Any help / suggestions would be grateful..

It's only been 3 days without broadband but I miss it sooo much...

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
