      from what i can see OP is on ADSL2+ already

      @vickyrees - do you have trouble with the internet when not using the xbox (do you get disconnects, slow speed) have you had a look on the xbox forums to see if they may have an answer,

      yes also get slow speeds on the internet and disconnection even when not using the xbox

      yes we have tried xbox live for answers and all the tests they run say everythings working fine, for example we have been playing online tonight from about 8pm at around 9.30pm we couldnt play online because 'information from xbox live could not be retrieved' only during the last hour from around midnight could we get back on again - also all our friends are having no problems who live locally ? (during the time we couldnt get on)
