I spent an afternoon sorting out a neighbours wiring, and having fitted the filter faceplate, re-wired extensions and all the rest of it, they sync at 5600 with 49db attenuation, it's been rock solid for a week. they are now very happy Sky Mid customers.

      Hi Guesswot.
Broadband is like that, there is always someone/some ISP that will tell you that you can get a faster connection with this or that company. What they don't tell you is that it is so unstable you need to re-sync every 5 mins and if someone within 5 miles has a faulty light switch you lose the connection. (I pile it on for dramatic effect)

Be pleased you have a nice connection and enjoy it

Hi Brian69, thanks for comment. Yes, been with Freeserve, Telinco, Strayduck, Tiscali, ( sad isn't it), Plusnet (good but deteriorated), IDNet (superb) & Sky (the best value so far).

Cause you never know, but with all this talk about Sky doing a bit of tweaking to their lines, and with you having a nice stable one, they might give you a go on +2 just to see what happens.

Re: Just connected, Do I try for ADSL2+

Your profile says MAX. So if you have been told you are on Base, MID or MAX you are an LLU customer.

Those that pay 19 a month are Connext- rebranded BT - Therefore NOT on LLU.

Sky are only doing these line checks on the LLU lines.
