      Fast.co.uk to Sky

      Hi sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section but just wanted everyones advice on whether i should switch from fast.co.uk to sky?
      Tempted due to 3 for 26 pound deal but worried about connection speeds

      I don't think anyone can come right out and say 'switch'. It depends on what you get at the moment and what you want to use it for. For instance if you depend on your connection for work or business, then a change would not be advised, as Sky is purely a domestic service. The speed you will get should be the same or better than you have, but this cannot be guaranteed. The Sky service appears to require better line quality than some other suppliers. The majority of users are well pleased with Sky, but as you will find reading this forum, some are not.

      TPH i'm paying 5 for a 4MB connection. Now i was paying 10 with UK online. Saving 60 a year. So money wise yes.

      i changed from eclipse at 18 per month for 2mb now on sky max 10 but getting 14mb
      only went for max beacause having 3 kids on msn, bebo etc the base package was not giving high enough bandwidth or usage limits, so went for max with unlimited* usage (high fair usage policy) but for normal usage the free base package sounds good, the mid package might have done me but i'am still saving 8 with max
