Re: Slow speed with new firmware

not as far as i know, it could be the database they are working from is incorrect, or your line may be one of the worse ones on the street ?

you could do a comparison set of stats from your "Test" socket and post them back to see if there is any improvement (see first link in my sig)

have a look at the 3rd link in my sig which will give you a better understanding of the stats you posted

Re: Slow speed with new firmware

MY wireless connection speeds have gone down the pan since I got firmware auto-upgraded

Supposed to be an 8meg connection, was working fine till the upgrade - now I can only download at 20k

Could someone take a look and see if there is anything wrong?

you say your wireless has gone pants, can you confirm that wired is producing approx the 8mb that you are synced at?

Re: Slow speed with new firmware

You will always get a slower download speed on wireless. You are syncing on the full 8meg and CRC errors look fine. Do a wired test other than that it seems fine. Also try reseting the router, push a pen into the back (hole) and hold until the test light illuminates.

Try changing the channel of the router.
      adjust aerial orientation etc.
