      Re: can u use any sky router with sky broadband

      you are correct, it is against sky's T&C's to use another router

      some some people do use other routers (non sky), but they do know the risk involved in doing so.

      is there something wrong with the router you have ?

      It's likely to be resetting itself for a reason. This could be down to your internal wiring or external. Router stats would help in diagnozing the problem.

      Re: can u use any sky router with sky broadband

      Att of 63.5 is bordering on the limit for an adsl connection.
      However you are syncing at a reasonable rate for the att.
      Have you tried the test socket to see if that improves things ?

      Re: can u use any sky router with sky broadband

      @samperry209

      You have multiple threads which cover and answer your problem again and again:

      phone knocking broadband out

      63.5db!!

      On top of this you have added a number of posts other threads and sent pms to me (and possibly others).

      If you still don't understand what your problem is please stick to ONE thread.

      Lastly, yes, at the current time it would appear that any Sky router will work on any Sky BB account. There are however possible legal ramifications of using someone else's username and password and it would at the very least contravene Sky's T&Cs. It is also quite probable that at some time Sky will delete all passwords and usernames from their systems that were previously issued to customers who have now left.
