      Activation due today.

Like many other people, it seems, my activation date was notified as today, 20/09. This is my third activation date and nothing has been done so far. I am told it could be anytime up to midnight tonight, and my MAC expires tonight!

I am leaving Wanadoo BB and use it's speedtouch modem. When I want to test if the Sky BB has been activated I have to disengage the Speedtouch and connect up the Sky Netgear box, then when it stiil hasn't been activated disengage that and reconnect the Speedtouch to get online.

Does anyone know if there is a way to spot when the activation has taken place? Will the Speedtouch just stop working and disengage me? What will happen to incoming Wanadoo e-mails after activation?

What a fag it all is!!

Once they start to move you over if you are going to LLU that is then your line will go down and you will know they are upto something so then connect the netgear and watch the lights.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Well at 1430 today my Wanadoo connection went off and 15 minutes or so later my line was activated. All seems to be well and I am struggling to set up my E-mail in Outlook Express. Ratti's tutorial is excellent and it seems to be set up although I am not receiving E-mails addressed to myself via my new @sky.com account. Perhaps I should give it a bit more time to recognise me.

I feel like a lie down!

I can't register because I'm on my works computer and I can't access my yahoo email address on it.

So because I don't have Sky BB yet, I don't have an email address I can access therefore I can't register on this site!

      Spot the irony?
