      Re: Evening Disconnects

You definitely have a line problem somewhere or your noise margin would be much higher. Do you have the filter plugged into the socket first, then any extensions or phones plugged into it. You say you are only using one socket, but do you only have one or are there others you don't use? Plugging into the Test socket as has been suggested, will eliminate any problems with the faceplate or other wiring.

[QUOTE=yorkie_scot;143219]Hi, sorry for the delay. I ended up contacting Sky last night who said there had been problems at the exchange. However, I continued to have problems this morning but it seems ok at the minute (don't want to tempt fate though).

Ive been having the same problem as you m8y, anytime between 1900hrs-2300hrs my connection has been dropping out. My snr never drops below 7.5db in the evening. Im quite far from the exchange as well 59-60db attenuation, 2848Mb down 640Mb up sync but never had so many probs as this in the past week. Im connected to the Selby exchange in N.Yorkshire, what exchange are you connected to?. Ive also given up trying to get through to TS.

      Re: Evening Disconnects

Sorry for the delay, I've not had a connection until now!!!!!!

I phoned Sky last night and was on hold for 45 minutes so ended up hanging up!!!! Then again this morning for 20 minutes and still no answer. I phoned back to see what was going on to be told that they would call me back within 72 hours, since being connected I've not been connected for 24 hours! Definitely a waste of 60 connection fee.

HiPing......I'm connected to the Pontefract exchange in West Yorkshire.

Here's my updated stats from the master socket..........

Try rebooting your router, your sync should improve.
