      Disconnections

      Help,

My Sky Max has worked fine for ages but over the last month has been dropping out normally after around 40 - 50 mins or sometimes as soon as 15 mins. The lights on the router don't change but double clicking on the 'internet connection' icon on the task bar shows that the connection has 'frozen' with duration of the connection stopped. The other icon 'local area connection' is fine though. Sorry if this is a bit vague - I'm not the most technical... did have this prob a while back and turning off UPNP helped..

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8096 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 15.5 db 17.0 db
Noise Margin 9.1 db 13.0 db

      are you wireless ?

If you have the white netger router, could you re-boot your router as your attenuation is showing 15.5db and this may not be correct, it's a known bug in the V1)

      Re: Disconnections

i would guess it may be that there are alot of new wireless connections in your area or you have some new electrical devices that are interfering with your wireless signal.
you could try changing channel and see if that helps
