How did you set the alarm off and is the alarm filtered on the line?

If you have an alarm on the line and its not filtered then that can be impacting the setup. If you have tested all filters and the line is still dropping when BB is in use then either the filters are fault, there are line issues internally in the property or an issue between you and hte exchange equipment.
To find out which of these are the issue we need to either simplify your setup (test socket if possible with only phone and router connected to a filter) or know exactly what is connected to your telephone line and how it is connected.
