Thanks Tyland - I think unless something changes, I'm probably going to leave it until the exchange is unbundled then. Hopefully by then most of their problems will have been solved as well.

I've checked the Samknows site a few times, but there isn't even a date set so far for Easynet.

Fingers crossed that it will happen not too long from now, and that it's easy enough to get back on the list for Sky Broadband.

Well that was quick - thanks for the suggestion to e-mail easynet - I've had a reply saying that my exchange is scheduled for unbundling on the 9th February 2007 - although it isn't a confirmed date, and won't be confirmed until it actually happens

Just go back to samknows and go back to your exchange and at the bottom put your email address in and they will inform you when any changes happen on the exchange, my exchange wasn't due until Jan 2007 and it got done last month.

Seems they are moving things along a lot faster so you never know.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

I have just had Sky call me back to signup.

I used the broadband contact form and told them I had spent about 6 hours queuing (on their 0800 number mention on this site) but still had failed to get to an advisor.

Anyway they called back 2 hours later and sign me up.

(They obviously have some team leader in the call center that likes to reset the system and dump all the calls if they are queuing too long and will effect his performance figures. I hope they sack him when they find out.)
