current sky customer. on orange bb, want to move to sky.

hi, i have had sky digital for 7 years now. same box and remote control, therefore they are not as reliable or as fast as they once were. and ive been on orange broadband since it was freeserve, with the same package. it is pitifully slow by todays broadband packages (576kb!, still costing my parents 20 a month) and extremely unreliable. i use a netgear router already.

my question is can i, as an existing sky customer, take advantage of a new sky package? so i would get a new box and control, and sky broadband max, for the same price a new customer would get them?
      thanks in advance, sam.

nope, you'd simpy get a new router for the BB but no change of your Sky Digibox or remote.

If you want to get a new box and remote, i'd have a look on ebay.

the equipment is yours, just like your telly (ie what you have asked if no different to saying I have an old TV, if i get BB do i get a new plasma).

Nope if you cancel and re-apply you wont. The interactive discount is per person...... however if another member of your household applied with a different bank account........

when you cancel (if you do try that), then make sure you say it's because the box is old and slow and you can't afford to buy a new one..... they then may offer you something to keep your custom (or not of course).
