      Hi

      I posted here yesterday about my chances of getting SKY to increase my speed following wiring improvements (installing XTE faceplate and using pro plus cable etc). Someone on here was wise enuf to warn me that they may see it as a complaint and cap me!

      Naively I sent the following e-mail yesterday:

      Hi

      Appreciate the speed increase. Please note that I have now made further improvements to internal wiring (installed XTE Faceplates to replace Master Socket and using pro plus cable).

      In view of this is it possible that my speed might now be increased byond 4096Mbps as my improvements have increased Signal Noise Ratio as evidenced by router stats

      Please note I AM CONTENT WITH SPEED AND STABILITY AND AM NOT COMPLAINING!

      Could I have been more explicit?

      I got the usual acknowledgment today confirming referall to CST with a ticket No and guess wot?

      Checked just now and router miraculously synching at 2976Mbps!!!! A coincidence I think not. I had good stability at 4096 for about a month and then took about 2 hours and 30 improving my line and my reward is a reduction in speed.

      I will ring them this evening but I'm really angry and wanted to share this with you.

      that's why you should NEVER email in as the auto regrade gets you - almost guarantee it these days...

      Auto regrade did not hit him Auto regrade only targets tickets that have been open by tier 1 and have been sitting in the cue to long.over 5 days.
