Re: New FW for V1 Router - Is it any better?

Since complaining to SKY about the problem with my router and their updated firmware, It looks like they've done something, Everything seems to work fine now with the wireless no constant-5min(s) disconnections, So all good. And my line is at a constant or always been at a constant speed of 8096KBPS, which is also nice.

Re: New FW for V1 Router - Is it any better?

15 days uptime since firmware update, prior to that it was reboots every 1 or 2 days and intermittent wifi.

Not worried about any speed differences, just happy to have a stable internet connection again.

Yes, definitely better for me.

Re: New FW for V1 Router - Is it any better?

Router been rock steady since the upgrade and not had to reboot in a couple of months !!

I still maintain that the wireless is rock steady too, but only if you use the matching Netgear Turbo GT wireless adapters.

My work laptop has intel wireless and it drops all the time, wifes laptop and kids desktop all use Netgear GT adapters and they never have any problems at all.
