      Noise emission from speaker

      Hi

Had some early speed and connection probs on Mid package but they seem to have stabilised around 3.3Mbps.

Am about to fit XTE 2005 faceplate and pro plus ADSL wiring to enhance internal situation but there was summat elase I forgot to mention previously.

From day 1 I've had this clicking (more like put put putting from amotor boat) emanating from the left speaker. SKY say they've never come across it but I wondered if it was associcated with noise from internal set up.

For the record here's the stats:

      Re: Noise emission from speaker

It is easy enough to check, just unplug the router from the power circuit. If it goes it could mean the Power adapter is faulty. If it stays, try unplugging the other things you have connected to the power circuit one at a time.

To be honest if you are only hearing it on one speaker, it is more likely to be sound card related or even the speaker itself. Try unplugging the speaker jack and putting it back in.
