    Will Sky Improve My Ping.

    This is a discussion on Will Sky Improve My Ping. within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; But if i specifically ask for my max delays to be lowered which i did, then they should do that ...

      but the regrade script doesn't read - its just picks out the open reason (slow connection) and regrades...trust me on this, call - it'll save a lot of hassle

      Looks like they've done it !

      BBC.co.uk ping = 30ms

      before it was 80ms !

      I am syncing at a lower speed but at least its more stable.

      An auto regrade is not done by a computer it is done by cst agents. if it was done with a computer then they would not need as much cst staff and if it was a case that it was done by a computer then every raised ticket would be auto regraded.

      yes it is done by computer as ive watched it do it!!!

      the reason some are actually done as requested is you get agents who are pro-active and search out these tickets and do them before the script gets them - this would appear to be such an occation, but the lower sync speed alone might've sorted it so it may have been caught...

      Im much happier now apart from download speeds which have dropped but you cannot have everything. Web browsing is faster also.

      Line Attenuation 60.0 db 31.5 db
      Noise Margin 12.4 db 13.0 db

      Before Line Attenuation was 59
