      LLU Exchange's

Dose anyone know how often capacity is added to exchanges? My mate wants Sky broadband but our exchange information on the Sky.com website has recently changed from all LLU packages available to only Connect is available which he does'nt want! so looks like he might have missed the boat.
Also are Sky still unbundling exchange's? The total number of unbundled easynet exchange's on Samknows dosen't seem to of changed for some time,
as I've got another mate a few miles away who is on a non LLU exchange and would also like Sky broadband without paying 17 a month.

      Re: LLU Exchange's

if you cannot get the base, mid or max packages because they are full in your exchange you usually get the connect package for 5 not 17 so just ask and see if they will do that.

If your mate is getting Connect coming up at 17 then there might be a wait as they usually offer this at 5 when the exchange is going to be unbundled within the next six months.

Sky Broadband Connect for 5 per month is only available to customers whose exchange has run out of capacity and are IN a Sky network area

^^^ Things have changed then as both Alan, myself and thousands of others enjoyed connect @ 5 for around 6 months last year prior to our exchanges being unbundled.

Sky originally offered the 5 deal to users whose exchange was being unbundled within 6 months, if not connected in that time the deal was extended until it was. I was on it for 8 months

I don't work for Sky either

i think some might still get the package for 5 if your exchange is getting unbundled not long after they join.
