      Disconnection at 00:00

Hi. I have the DG834GT router. I'm on Sky broadband as of early 2007.

At 00:00 every night my connection seems to reset. I say "seems to" because the main symptom is that MSN disconnects. MSN reconnects but it's getting annoying. I only noticed the time interval about 3 months back, so maybe it is just MSN?

I recently got a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop, it has an internal wireless card. Can't quite remember if I had the problem on my old IBM (external card), if anything it did it even more.

I've looked around but everyone seems to suggest router firmware upgrade and I already have the latest firmware version. -_-

      1. Does anyone know a solution to this? Or even cause? Maybe some experience? =/

      2. Would sky exchange the router somehow to a later model?

      Thanks.

I think this is a known bug in the router, hopefully it will be fixed with the new firmware. It was discussed quite widely in the forum a few months ago.
