    Hey!

      Thumbs up Hey!

      New here, joined sky awhile ago, love it but can't help but wonder if my speed should be faster....or how I can optimize it.(Ive used most if not all ways posted around the forum.) According a topic I read earlier, my line ATT is 24db, shouldn't I get around 16000kbps? ANyway can any experts explain or help me to achieve the full potiential.(My SNR margin is constantly changing, lowest so far is 3db down ...)

      Heres my stats:

      Hi Xidos,

      Welcome to the forum

      first thing to do is find out if you have a NTE5 socket and post the stats back (see first link in my sig)

      we can then move on from there

      plug the router (after the filter) direct into the test socket and post some more stats.
      (this will hopefully rule out any internal wiring problems)

      Ohhh dear, Rich sorry, I was being stupid and assuming I had that socket, it appears I do not, I have possibley and older one. With a ciruit board on the back with another test socket connected.

      i could be wrong, but that looks like an extention socket ? what does the bit in the wall look like ?

      (this will also help the peeps who know alot more about the wiring)
