well i must be totally mad then as ive spent hours on hold two hours yesterday then got cut off.

in total i think ive spent 6 hours on hold to sky and the woman i spoke to even managed to **** my order up and put it through on the wrong number. then they had to cancel it.

now im told i have to wait even longer.

they have only got a few more chances then thats it im moving to Organic broadband dot eu

i dont want to stay with aol as they drive me mad with customer service i spent hours on at them to get a mac code seems abit of a waste of time seing as sky are messing me around like mad

Has anyone managed to get through its driving me crackers

It would be strange if Sky were refusing the (free) 0800 for new orders and accepting it for technical queries. Most organisations would have that round the other way, with the (paying) 0870 number for their techie stuff.

Sorry fo re-posting this i just wanted it under my username

i can totally relate to how you are feeling ive spent hours on hold.

heres the problem that im having i manage to order sky broadband but they did it on the wrong phone number (we have two in our house)

so they have had to cancel it and then ive got to wait 5 days for it to be cleared down with bt and then i can re-order it.

tonight i wrang at around 730 and i got answered in less than ten minutes (dont hate nor shout at me for that) but i was quite happy i didnt have to wait for ages.

and wait it gets better, sky have apparently sent me my router pack that ive now go to send back which i will get back again when i order on the correct line seems abit odd to me to have to send it back then recieve it again its not like im not gonna order and it would save sky some cash.

      but anyway,

i managed to talk to a bloke called micheal or at least i think it was and he is calling me back next tuesday before 12am and he is going to go through the order with me step by step.

Thats gotta be great i dont have to call them again and be on hold for hours and hours and hours and hours, you get the point.

im dreading my mobile phone bill its gonna be massive

feel free to email me im registered as username Organic but i cant post yet as i havent been sent the email to activate my account

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

Well, still haven't managed to get through, and when you ring the 08705 number, you just get cut off. I tried the 0800 number and they said they would have to pass me into the queue.

Can get through on 0870 Number

I managed to get through to chase up my activation date on 0870 595 9595 option 1 4 1.

It took several attempts before I got put in the queue (kept getting engaged tone) and I was in the queue for just under 20 minutes before I got answered.
