      lot of reasons...line conditions might've changed, exchange equipment may be faulty, etc...

      are you running in your master socket? you wanna get EVERYTHING in top notch condition before approaching Sky...

      yes i only have one socket nothing has changed since disconnection 2 weeks ago will post stats when i get in thanx for replys guys much appreciated.

      ok rang tech support all they said was im lucky to get 7mb download should only be getting 5 mb what should i do now.

      ok the first 3 months were fine then i started getting problems ,so i emailed sky and told them they then capped me at about 11mb and since then everything was ok,

      ok spoke to tech support this morning really nice guy who could not do enough to help,now back on adsl2+ and 10mb....well done for helping sky

      It does sometimes come down to who you talk to and how hard they push to get it sorted, get the right person and the call is dealt with, get someone who hasn't been in the job long or hasn't had enough training and the call can take ages and end up un-resolved. Thankfully you got someone who was able to deal with this one properly.

      yer the guy was really helpfull,he tested my line and did few other tests and then said its done,took about 5 mins,compaired to call last night which took about 30 mins and the lady did not spk good english and did not have a clue what i was onabout ,she just kept saying master socket,reset router so i put the phone down due to wasting time.
