Things are looking better and better.....
Got a letter this morning from Sky's Customer Relations advising that they have downgraded my package to Mid as per my request. OK, so it is not unlimited, but 40GB should be more than sufficient for me. Sky have also credited my account with a few pounds as a goodwill gesture (not that I was after any compensation - I just wanted to pay for what I am getting).
Anyway, I'd like to thank Sky for sorting this out (even although it took a some time and lots of frustration).
If you're having problems with your Sky BB I would strongly recommend that you put your side of the story to Sky in writing. Write to Mark Anderson, Customer Marketing Director at the Livingston address. It may take them a while to get back to you, but at least you have submitted something in writing. Also we all know how frustrating it can be trying to get through to their support folk. And once through, chances are they cant help, may fob you off (or cut you off) and are generally not geared up to dealing with the typical issues that have been common since launch.
