      ipod touch

      when using mobile internet with ipod touch how does it work exactly?

      if i'm in the house is it the same as having another pc ie the signal comes from my wi fi adapter?

      and if using at wi fi spots such as starbucks is there a charge?

      It is just the same as using a PC. I don't know whether Starbucks charge, some places give a free connection other charge a fee.

      There are free wi-fi hotspots in the UK at most McDonalds andJDWetherspoon outlets. It works, I've tried it!

      iPod touch users can get access to wi-fi hotspots run by The Cloud for a fixed monthly fee:
