Question le3 problem with card 7 in exchange

      hello all

great place for info and it's not so bad when you know you're not up the creek on your own.

I should have went live on the 14/09 and according to bt tracker the provide has been completed. The cease is due today.

My problem is, according to Sky, that the card i'm on the exchange (number 7)is down and has been since 3:48 on 7/09. I've been told that i've been taken off BT's hardware and put on Sky's. If this is the case, then it seems I was put on a card that was known to be down.

Sky haven't a clue when this card is going to fixed and I can't be put on another. I did say that I need the line for remote access for work and haven't had a problem in the five years I've been with AOL. To which they advised that going back to AOL would be the best option!!!

Having resisted migrating ISP's until now, I'm really disappointed with Sky. If they known about the card since for almost two weeks and haven't repaired it then that doesn't bode well for maintenance in the future.

So just a quick couple of questions: - has anyone else in the leicester area had this problem and is it something I should be chasing up more with Sky?

Oh i work in a large IT Dept and my problem has already cost Sky two would be converts...not that they are bothered I suppose...
