Question Internet Browser keeps losing connection

      Hi

Have been having this problem all day. When I turn on my PC and open my Internet browser it loses the internet connection after about 5 mins every time (I get server taking too long to respond error).

My main browser in Firefox but the same happens within IE. THe Internet itself is still working fine as both MSN Messenger and Xbox Live are working

Only way I can get back on the internet is to reboot the PC and again after about 5 mins will lose the connection in the browser.

Any ideas what would cause this (should mention I have rebooted the router)?

      Thanks

Re: Internet Browser keeps losing connection

Do you have the latest version of IE which is IE 7 it should have a yellow flash through it. If you do try going to Tools/ Internet options /advanced / reset. This will reset all your IE settings. Try this it usually fixes most problems. If this doesn't work try flushing the DNS. Start / run /type cmd / in the black window type ipconfig /flushdns.

      Hope this helps
