Thats wrong. Sky never ask for your email password. The password they ask for is the one on the main sky account i.e. the global account for everything.

      Re: Help Please

Its the same when you ring up your credit card company they always ask security questions to verify its really you.
That is a completely different thing, they normally check with your security question, mothers name etc and date of birth. They will never ask for a password. I was under the impression that passwords were held in encrypted databases and could not be viewed without the encryption key, they would not be very secure if someone can press a key and view them.

Use this link for broadband technical support. It does not request your password.

Sorry to contradict you, but it is exactly the same thing. Some years ago, I phoned up Sky customer service for some matter (to put Sky Sports back onto my subscription I think) and I was invited to set a password for future contact with Sky. I gave them a suitable word and now, whenever I phone up Sky, be it for TV or broadband, they ask for that password. But it's different from my Sky email password (for one thing it's a dictionary word, which isn't suitable for use with email), and it's the only password Sky ever ask for.

I can only assume that because you've never set a password, they never ask for one. Or maybe the password you gave them was irefusetogiveyoumypassword.

      Re: Help Please

I stand corrected!!!!! I can only repeat that I personally have never been asked for a password, nor have I been asked to create one. Maybe I have a very trustworthy voice so don't need one.
