You seem to have a massive build up of errors..and your SNR seems very low? Have you tried the test socket? what SNR setting have u set the router to in the firmware?

      hi monday,

yes i have tried it in the test socket and it remains the same really, as for the SNR setting it is set at 6.9 but for some reason it is always lower.

i will show my stats by upgrading it with the sky firmware, tomorrow

Your speed seems very good for your attenuation. You appear to be on ADSL2 which according to a previous post, Sky don't use. I seem to remember it was explained away as a 'bug'.

Why did you change the firmware, were you having problems? I don't think James recommends this firmware for a Sky connection, as it does not poll the server. You are wise changing back to the official Sky firmware.

It would do no harm to try using Mognuts to increase your noise margin, you should be able to reduce the errors without sacrificing too much speed. Alternately, you can ask Sky to put you on G.DMT, which will reduce your speed but will probably make your line more stable. All in all if you are happy the way it is, leave well alone and do nothing.
