Got activated around 20 minutes ago. Attenuation has increased to 32db, which I'm not too pleased about, since it has cut down my sync speed now.

      sync speeds have been:
      14530 kbps master
      14856 kbps test
      14694 kbps extension
      14388 kbps extension (resync)
      14294 kbps extension (second resync)

      snr moving between 6.3db-7.1db

Mine was activated today and I had to do nothing.

I too had already set it up and it had sat there for a few days with three lights on. The (i) light came on today and I was connected!

      Good luck.

      Andrew.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

SatDish: I'm not complaining about the speeds, in fact I'm getting quite good download speeds at the moment, but I was hoping to sync at 15323. Still, it's faster than my old connection so I'm happy.

I got connected at around 5pm. Initially I had very slow performance (confirmed with a adslguide speed test), but resetting the router fixed that.

But there is a problem, I am only syncing between 7.3 - 8.6mb. I thought I would recieve more? I synced at 7.4mb on BT MaxDSL.

      Sky Broadband:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8665 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 43.0 db 26.2 db
Noise Margin 3.7 db 12.0 db

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7357 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 43.0 db 26.2 db
Noise Margin 10.1 db 12.0 db

      Old BT MaxDSL stats:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7424 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 39 db 11 db
Noise Margin 8 db 23 db

I have tried using the master socket and another filter. I have a short Belkin RJ-11 cable. I haven't phoned Sky about it yet (but I will anyway to get interleaving turned off).

I thought on ADSL2+ I would receive about 12mb? Is there a way to tell if your on ADSL2+?
