      Maximum number of pcs/xbox etc can connect wirelessly to sky router

      Hey guys

      I was wondering if anyone knows the maximum number of pcs etc you can connect to sky router on wireless is it 4? i thought 4 was maximum via ethernet. I have 4 pcs and 3 xboxs in the house at the moment and reason i was asking this is my xbox seems to be gettign disconnected fromt he network and i have to re enter wpa key go through connection process to get it back on so im wondering if this caused when another xbox or pc tries to connect to the network

      I think its limited by the number of ip addresses the router can assign. As the router takes 192.168.0.1 and your four pc's would take 192.168.0.2 to 5 that would leave 6 to 255 = 250.
      You could try assigning the wireless items static addresses on the router this may solve the disconnecting problem.

      obviously bandwidth would drop the more you are connecting to said router
