      Re: sky help please

only thing i can suggest is to do a comparison set of stats from the "test" socket (see first link in my sig)
i know you have had BT in, but they may still wire the sockets with the "ring" wire, testing from the test socket will show if you still have a problem with your home wiring

P.S any reason in particular why you are not using the supplied sky router ?

      Re: sky help please

thanks for advice i have it in the bt master test socket just now. the reason i switched router was due to this one will hold a conection where as the sky one dosent it drops out alot. this router is a dynamode r-adsl-c4w-eg.
i would have thought that the bt master test socket would have gave me a better result than i am getting. i have looked at the exchange and it shows no problems.

was you old router a white netgear one ?

if so, could you plug it back in, leave it on for an hour or so and then use the mognuts utility to post some detailed stats (see second link in my sig for the mognuts utility)

Try posting the stats from the Sky router, so we can see the sync rate
