    Do I need to hard reset?

    This is a discussion on Do I need to hard reset? within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Please disregard, problem has been solved. Router just needed resetting....

      Do I need to hard reset?

      Please disregard, problem has been solved. Router just needed resetting.

      can you get into the router page, if so have a look at what it says in the conection status tab

      No if I try to access the router page it just hangs and will not display. The lights on the front of the router look normal though?

      Problem solved. I forgot I had given the router its own mains socket, so it had not been reset when I unplugged the pc!! Switching off and on has brought it back to life. Doh!
