hi folks im lost here i received a text message from sky today " the fault with your sky broadband has been resolved. there is no need to call us unless you are still having problems. sky technical support 08705 515515" i did phone 4-5 days ago because connection was dropping but we fixed it over the phone by switching the routers over i assumed that was end of it.

I'm guessing there will have still been an open ticket which has been closed (as resolved) and they've sent you that automated text to inform you its been closed.
Just a guessI am not posting officially on behalf of Sky. I am posting individual thoughts and advice.

yea the CST department have been using the txt message system for a while now, its saves the time and money having a agent calling the customer back to tell them that everything is ok and working
