      @IAmNotTheEnemy

      Master socket, changed filter, wired/wireless makes no difference..

      sorry about the idiot thing, i just have this real complex when calling technical support and being told they can't help me unless i am on a windows machine.

      I work in IT, mostly networking and web based applications and i've checked everything my end including checking all connections on my computer(s), taking all devices of the network (printer & NAS) and i am now connected by ethernet, the only device on the network, master socket, power cycled and ready for any help you guys / sky can chuck at me

      @billbhellend

      that's pretty harsh if not off topic!

      edit: also i find it hilarious that your rant about maturity and growing up is damn near illiterate

      @IAmNotTheEnemy

      Not tried the test socket but i just got off the phone with tier 3..

      The guy was super nice and got me back up to 4500kbps and it was nice and stable and literally 5 minutes after ending the call i'm back down to 800kbps! what the hell? This blows.. he was checking for errors as i was browsing and it was fine but now i'm down again

      Woah, that's bad

      Re: supidly slow internet!

      Please not lets get personal. Many members of Sky staff take their time to help people in their own time, risking getting the sack for doing so. There are some patronising posts made by some, but then again why should someone trying to help, put up with abuse and get called an idiot?

      We have a zero tolerence on this forum for any type of abuse against our members.
