      This is the one that shows your internet connection time, it shows you have been connected for 4hrs 17 mins. You LAN has been connected for over 126 hours, as has your wireless LAN. This should be reflected somewhere in your router log, but I don't know where.

      You don't appear to be using your wireless, it would be better turned off

      hi again ...you say....
      "You don't appear to be using your wireless, it would be better turned off"

      ..i occasionally use a laptop...just occasionally...if i turn off what you suggest..will that stop the laptop accessing the web ? if so..i assume that if i turn it back on again...i could then use laptop......i have set up the laptop to connect to router but rarely use it...thanks yet again...in advance

      ps..if i do turn it off ( but assuming i can still do the above if required....what difference does it make turning wireless off ?

      Hi Worcester.
      Well your stats are not too bad considering your rough old line. Whats the weather like? if it's nice and dry then the old joints may have dried out/ stopped leaking to earth.

      @Isitme.
      Sorry mate the penny about you post just dropped. I am having a slow day!!

      Turning off the wireless side of the router will, if these are anything like Speedtouch ones, make them run much cooler. But your lappy will not be able to access the net

      Re: can i track disconnections thru sagem router ?

      I mentioned your wireless as it has been running for some time and has not been used. If you want to keep it on, make sure the security is set to WPA. The best security is turning it off, it only takes one tick, then the same to turn it on.

      As Brain says, your stats are not too bad, I think it must be sharp spikes in the noise which is knocking you off. Maybe a crossed wire somewhere which only makes connection every now and then.

      Hi Worcester.
      Clear the "Enable wireless acess point" box
      don't forget to click on apply at the bottom. The wireless LED on the router will go out
