      Got My Sky Router...

... Its a netgear DG934 (grey), although I havent had an activation date from Sky yet (Given them my Mac code so I guess it is just a matter of time.) My current Router is the 834GT... first thinkg I notice about the 934 is that it has an on/off switch woo! lol sorry I know, but that was one of my gripes about my 834, I had to pull power evertime I wanted to switch off which was a pain.

and they've given me 3 microfilters... umm ok lol

I normally just leave my router on all the time. It probably does more damage to the router if you keep switching it on and off.

Yep - 3 Microfilters, they come in handy (moving home etc) so don't loose em!

filters also have to be on all items connected to your phone line (if you have sockets upstairs/in another room)

      Re: Got My Sky Router...

Well I live in a flat so there's one socket for the phone currently my PC/Router is in my bedroom (Green lights on the wall whilst in bed trying to sleep at 4am is not fun) hence my delight at an off switch. Although I daresay if/when I eventually move my PC into living room I'll probably leave it on as well.
