      Limiting bandwidth on devices

      Hi all...

      Is is possible to limit bandwith to certain devices ? I am sharing my line over 4 devices and wanted to know if this was at all possible?

      Simple answer: No

      Longer answer:

      What you are after is Traffic Shaping... That's perfectly doable on other Routers, but not the box Sky supply..

      An alternative would be to improvise a Linux box to sit between your devices and the router, and do the shaping instead.. if you want more details let me know

      Or extract your password and username and use a proper router! (please dont all start up and tell me theres nothing wrong with the sky router!)
