      Connection drop every day, same hours

      Hey
      I've got a problem with sky connection. Each day between 20:00 and 22:00 connection drops every 1-10 minutes, then reconnects in couple seconds (all tcp connections dropped of course). Apart from that it's ok all day long.

      So I just switch to G.DMT usually (manually - it's still ADSL2+ as far as sky is concerned). Connection drop happens in all modes (2+, adsl, dmt, etc.) There's no lower speed between those reconnects, no difference in snr, nothing...
      Hardware: Netgear DG834GT FW: V1.02.28
      It starts every single day at 19:57 and stops 2 hours later. Any ideas what can be the reason / what can I do? I'm tired of sky 1st line support already :/

      What happens in your home between 20.00 and 22.00? heating? how are you connected to the phone line?

      Your line attenuation suggests you should be able to get ~16 mbps if it were free of noise, so at ~7.5 mbps it obviously isn't, and this is probably causing the disconnections.

      Do you have ADSL filters plugged into every telephone socket on the line including the likes of Sky digibox connections? Are you connected to the master socket or an extension? Do you have an NTE5 with test socket that you can try to see if things improve?

      what happens to the stats if you do a comparison from your "test" socket (see first link in my sig)
