      Re: Sky Block rapidshare.com?

Thanks to everyone for the help on this topic.
Now its obvious what the vast majority of us use rapidshare for, completely legal file upload and retreval.....
My question is, is it worth contacting Sky and asking them to investigate the fault. What I am not sure of is if they will check my DL history. Obviously if they do it will lead to some very much unwanted questions

If anyone has an idea if they will or wont the feed back would be appreciated

LOL, Sky won't look into your download history, at most they may see your usage but I doubt that.

As for the problem, I also doubt they will be interested, as far as they are concerned they do not block anything on their network so the problem is either you or Rapidshare (who have been known to have this issue before and pretend it wasn't them).

As for your dubious downloading habbits, that is for you to live with.

Sky won't give a flying monkey about RS - it's nothing to do with them...just use another site (Sendspace, Megaupload, Yousendit, etc)

I am a premium user with RS so it is worth a try. I am sure that Sky will notice the loss of customers

      Bet they don't

There are many more customers moving from the Sky Connect package and have been for over a year and that hasn't bothered them!!!

Rapidshare has been down and then up over last couple of days for me too, its evident if you do a bit of research on ggole that sky would appear to have some involvement in this, gettin' to big for their boots me thinks!!!!!!

      Re: Sky Block rapidshare.com?

Hi guys, I have been having the same issue for the last few days also. tried on 3 different machines with various browsers and it has the same problem each time, it must be Sky though becuase on on my neighbours computer it works fine

cannot open Rapidshares site, or any link to Rapidshare, and the download manager says all links are dead (even though i have tested confirmed live links)
very annoying, especially as I have just renewed my Rapidshare premium membership and am currently unable to use it
I hope this gets sorted very soon
