Rapidshare is also not accessible for me and I have also just renewed the account last night for 3 months!

I am using opendns servers so I would have thought it would be much harder for sky to filter anything like that.

Yea .SSL works, however I normally use the rapidshare manager which doesn't support .SSL downloads so it can be a pain, and if sky are blocking it, then why?

I have just checked with someone who would know, (although not an answer given in an official capacity) Sky are not blocking this site.

So i'm guessing its a routing issue on the sky network.

Use "Rapget" and just replace the http://www.rapidshare.com in your links to http://195.122.131.250 (paste them to a text file and use the "Find and Replace" function in your editor if there are a few)

Make sure you add http://195.122.131.250 into the "Synonyms" list in "Settings > Servers" too.

It doesn't take too long although we shouldn't really have to do it.

YEa i have the same problem as you, i have sky broadband max and a imac running leopard. But when i go on ssl.rapidshare it works. However when i ran bootcamp and went on rapidshare on vista with firefox and ie i had the exact same problem. So it's not a safari,firefox,ie,mac,vista problem it's SKY!

Hey all! I'm new here. I'm currently experiencing the same problems you guys are all having. I've been a premium user of rapidshare for quite a few months and i too extended my account yesterday! It was only until recently that the rapidshare.com links have started to freeze-up or display the error page after a very long wait, but before today the problem was sporadic enough for me to ignore it completely. Currently, the rapidshare.com pages are dead! I know it's not a problem with my computer because my sister's desktop is also experiencing the same problem and she's never used rapidshare. However, as many here have helpfully stated, https://ssl.rapidshare.com/ and RapidShare: Easy Filehosting are both operational.....erh....i spoke a little soon.... It now seems that the internal RS links might be affected (i'm downloading as i'm typing this). Okay, so what is going on? Is this the end of rapidshare or is it just SkyBB trying to put restrictions on all the RS sites?
