      If you are using the filters that were supplied with your router, these don't help at all, I took one of mine to work yesterday and the performance of it is awful. A faceplate filter is the way to go, then you can take all of the other "filters" and throw them in the bin

      UPDATE

      I took Brian69's advice and bought an ADSL Nation XTE-2005 Faceplate.

      I fitted it this morning and I'm now syncing at 6240 kbps!!

      When I first applied to join SkyBB I was told I should get about 2.3 Mbps and until today I've usually synced between 2.2 and 4.3 Mbps but this is excellent!!

      I owe you a pint, Brian...
