Yes, the dgibox should have a filter fitted. All equipment connected to the phone line must be filtered. It is usually better to plug the filter into the socket and plug the Sky extension into it, so that if anything is plugged into the spare socket on the Sky extension it is automatically filtered.

It does look as if your internal wiring has been holding you back. You are now connecting more than 1000kbps faster than previously. There is probably still scope for improvement, if you can, try the previous posters suggestion. I am sure you will connect at nearer 16000kbps.

Re: how do i know if i am on G.DMT or not ?

That's unfortunate. You could try to get one fitted, by phoning BT and telling them you have noises on your voice line. With a bit of luck they will ask you to plug in to the test socket, at this point you act ignorant and they will tell you what to do. You then tell them you don't have a test socket, at which point, hopefully, they will say 'we will send an engineer over to fit one'. Job done. At worst they will just test your line and tell you it is OK. Then you have to consider paying to get one fitted. At no time during your conversations mention Broadband or Sky, or you will be fobbed off.

With those extensions you could try removing the ring wire. Find the master socket, that usually being the first one on the line, with extra components inside it. Open it up and look for any wires connected to terminal 3, usually orange and white. Disconnect them as they serve no useful purpose and quite often cause a lot of noise. Then post stats again.
