      Well I've just joined Sky and I get 266k upload and download speed, yet everyone says that there is nothing wrong

      I'll be heading off to another supplier if things aren't improved...

      That's the point. I am the buyer of the service. Not the seller. It is up to THEM to keep trying, not just me. And if they don't, I am off. I have already written to them today asking for their assistance and stating, within my 8 day contractual cooling off period (which I think is actually 30 days in law, thus making this condition in their contract not only sharp practice, but unenforceable), that if this is not going to be resolved, I wish to cancel my contract.

      Think about that, they contractually insist on an 8 day cooling off period knowing it takes a week or more for the line to settle down and 3-5 days to get an answer out of first line support, if you are lucky.

      Sorry, you have misunderstood me, I was referring only to the BT Speedtest, not your other problems.
